Access for guests with poor vision

My father has poor vision and requires fairly bright lighting and the ability to get quite close to objects in order to see them. Are there any accommodations for visitors with poor vision?

  • Dear JB,

I sincerely apologize for the late reply.

The Vasa Museum is quite dark due to the preservation of Vasa. However, it's possible to get close to the items shown in the exhibitions.

For the visually impaired there is also a model of Vasa. On the model, you can feel with your hands how Vasa was built. If you are interested, contact the Information Desk upon arrival at the museum.

Please let me know it there's anything else I can help you with!

    Kind regards,
    Emilia Booking Office
