Accessibility from street

If a tour bus stops at the museum are there any steps that a wheelchair user must use to enter the museum?  Would they have to leave their tour group to use a handicapped entrance that has a ramp or lift?  If so where is this entrance relative to the main entrance.

  • Dear Greg,

    Thank you for your question.
There are no stairs or steps to enter the Vasa museum. Everyone is welcome to enter through the same entrance.

Accessible waterclosets are also found by the entrance, by the information desk, by the restaurant and on the third level.

Please get back to us if you have any questions.
    Best regards,
    Therése
