Booking in advance necessarry?

Hello,
we are a family of 3 persons and will be soon visiting Stockholm and we are really looking forward to visiting the Vasa museum.

Should we book in advance our visit for the 29th or 30th of August or will we be able to find tickets at the counter?

We are interested in an english speaking tour. How often do they start in August? Do you also offer German guided tours?

Thank you in advance for your reply.

Kind regards,
Gerlinde

  • Dear Gerlinde

How nice to hear you and your family want to visit us!

You can buy tickets to the Vasa Museum on site upon arrival.
Please be reassured that you will be able to enter the museum.

If you want to buy tickets in advance, we offer combination tickets that are valid at the Vasa Museum and Vrak – Museum of Wrecks. For more information and to purchase combinations tickets, please visit our website. Please note that these tickets do not give priority in queue.

Please note that during busy days, all our visitors wait in the same line.
Usually it takes no more than 15-20 minutes to get into the Museum, but we do have less visitors in the morning and afternoon.

For more information about prices and opening hours please visit our website.
You will find all guided tours on our homepage, together with the film and the audioguide.

    Welcome!
